Course Description
This course introduces you to router configurations, router protocols, switching methods, and hub terminology. You will learn how to identify and configure all the necessary equipment for the network, and how to prepare the initial router configuration files, as well as enable, verify, and configure IP addresses. At the end of the course you will be able to plan, design, and implement a basic network topology.
 
Objectives
The objective of this course is to familiarize you with techniques used to design and configure a basic network topology. At the conclusion of the course, you will understand:
• How to configure the Cisco equipment that makes up a basic network • How to determine which routing protocols should be used in a given network • How to troubleshoot network problems • How to maintain the network
