Course Description
Topics include simplification, evaluation, and solving of algebraic and radical functions; complex numbers; right triangle trigonometry; systems of equations; and the use of technology. Upon completion, you will have a better handle on how to use mathematics and technology to solve problems, and in the analysis and communication of results.
 
Objectives
• Interpret mathematical functions and formulas
• Simplify and evaluate algebraic and radical functions
• Learn to solve systems of linear equations
• Learn to solve algebraic and radical equations
• Perform basic operations with complex numbers
• Solve problems involving right triangles by using trigonometry
