Course Description
The purpose of this class is to explore and understand the World Wide Web, Web browsers, and the Hypertext Markup Language (HTML), including how to publish your own documents on the Web.
Objectives
Major topics covered in this class include the following:
• What the World Wide Web is
• How to access sites on the Web
• How to create simple Web pages using the Hypertext Markup Language (HTML)
• How to publish your page on the World Wide Web

• Basic familiarity with e-mail and the Internet
