Course Description
This course introduces various aspects of basic video production. Students will learn usage, lighting, composition with special focus towards using video in journalism and web uses. Upon completion, students should be able to demonstrate a basic understanding of video camera operation and production techniques. The course is designed for eight weeks on-line only. Objectives
To develop the student with the skills, techniques and art of capturing visual news through sight, sound, and motion. It is a "hands-on" course teaching the use of the hand held camera and the editing equipment used to create the short inserts used in normal studio news programs.
