1. Create A Log-In
To register for CWA/NETT Academy courses, you'll need to create a log-in with your e-mail address and a password. The log-in process gives us all the information we need to verify your CWA membership or other eligibility. It also gives you access to free practice tests, demos, and other limited access information.
TIP: Create your log-in today! CWA members are eligible for exclusive access, so we will need some time to verify your membership. If you are a CWA member or the spouse or child of a CWA member, please bear with us until that two-part verification is complete.
2. Take the Assessment Exam
Before you sign up for any of the available courses, you should take the Skills Assessment Exam to assess your basic computer, technology, and networking knowledge. This exam will help you determine your entry point into the different training programs offered by CWA/NETT Academy. Feel free to contact any of the instructors (visit the Contact Us page) if you have questions about specific courses.
TIP: You'll want to start investigating your Employee Benefits and Tuition Aid options as soon as you can, to allow ample time for your paperwork to be processed. You need to know how you're paying for your course when you register.
3. Register for Courses
When you are logged in to CWA/NETT Academy, click on Registration. This link will take you to a secure application/registration form for Stanly Community College (SCC). All of the information you enter will be sent to SCC using 128-bit Secure Socket Layer encryption for the protection of your data. You'll get an email to confirm your application, which will take a few days to be processed. Once your application is accepted, you will receive confirmation of your admission and registration via e-mail.
4. Get Started!
If you order a textbook, you will receive it by UPS. When it's time to start class, your instructor will e-mail you with instructions.
